Cooper's first birthday!
Yesterday we celebrated Cooper's first birthday which was actually on Thursday. I can't believe a year has past since I held him in my arms for the first time! He has grown so much over the past year! He is almost walking and is saying a few words. We had a great time celebrating him turning one!

On our way to the farm
We had a very busy day yesterday! We started our day with Cade's soccer game. We went straight from there to a birthday party and left from there to go to Savannah to visit. My brother Matt was visiting from Michigan so we had a big family gathering with good food and fun. We got home and had to get ready for company last night. Needless to say we were very tired by the time we went to bed!

On our way out to the farm we stopped at the nursing home to visit my grandmother. She really enjoyed the visit.
Cade and granny!
Fun on the farm
The boys always love playing with their cousins. They never lack for attention when their cousins are around!!!
keeping an eye (and hand)on Chance at the creek!

Cooper loved this water. It was coming from a natural spring off the hill behind the house. My dad hooked a hose to it so the kids could use it while we were at the farm.

exhausted after a long day!
The boys had such a long day and were wiped out by the time we headed home!

Cooper got to enjoy his first lollipop on the way home from the farm. He was SO tired and very unhappy. I had no more snacks and drinks but I dug in the bag and found a lollipop. He was very happy for a little while!
Oh No! It's almost gone.
And it's all gone! We were almost home by this point so that was good!
school time-letter T
This week week with our preschool time we focused on the letter T. Most of our activities and crafts had something to do with the letter T. Here are some of things we did this week. I may not post stuff each week but we had lots of fun this week so I thought I'd share some of the things we did.
Chance with his turtle. The kids painted paper plates on Monday and then we finished them up on Thursday (when I had everyone back together)

Happy Anniversary
crafts!
This morning the kids made apple prints to go along with our letter "A" for the week. We have been having "preschool time" most days for the past 2 weeks. The kids have enjoyed it. The mom of one of the kids I keep brought me a big box of craft supplies to use. That was nice! The kids LOVE doing crafts so the box of goodies will really come in handy!

Aonther trip to the farm
Yesterday we took another trip to the farm to see Papa and Clara Ruth. Sarah went with us and we had a good time. We went swimming for just a little bit because it was a little chilly. It was overcast which made a huge difference in the temperature of the water. Sarah took the boys for a ride on the 4-wheeler which they always love. We ate lunch in the gazebo and enjoyed some cantaloupe and watermelon from the garden. The boys and I stopped by school to see Chad and they got to play for a while before coming home. We had a good day!
