Cade has some great 3rd grade bible class teachers. Rah Rah is his Sunday morning teacher and he loves that. On Wednesday nights during the Fall Quarter he had Scott and Susan Kimpel for his teachers. They made learning fun for the kids. One Wednesday evening the kids were asked to wear something to show the Armour of God. After searching through the dress up box Cade ended up with quite a few pieces representing the Armour of God. I'm sure some members were wondering why on earth my child was walking into church dressed this way. What a fun thing to let the kids do. I'm sure they will remember doing that for a very long time! Love to see teachers being creative with teaching the bible to children.

Fall Festival
The boys had a good time at the Fall Festival at East Chester. They all three went home with faces painted and goody bags from playing games. It was a fun night.
I'm a Chester County eagle now!!
God Bless the U.S.A
I love playing soccer!!!
Glow Run
On the first weekend in November Henderson had their first (to my knowledge) Glow Run. This was a very fun event for us all. There was music and lots of runners/walkers who came together to have a fun evening in the dark! This was Cade's very first run ever and my first run since having foot surgery back in May. We both signed up to do the 1 mile walk/run. Sarah and Paden brought Seth over to run with Cade. We all wore glow bracelets and necklaces so we could be seen running down the road. It was very cool seeing all the runners lit up! We're looking forward to next years Glow Run!
Cousins are great!!
I don't think anyone had a problem seeing us in these neon t-shirts!
A few of our favorite fans! Paden, Sarah, Lilly Kate and Chad.
Me and Ashley ready to run the 1 mile!!!
Our smallest fans!! Ellery and Lilly Kate just hanging out!
Nathan Shirley, Cade, and Seth after the race. Good job boys!

Chance's soccer season ends
Chance had a great soccer season. Coach Claude Bailey did a great job with the boys. Chance learned a lot and enjoyed playing.
The boys enjoyed eating pizza and playing together before getting trophies from their coach. These boys had a lot of fun together this season.

Happy Halloween
For halloween this year the boys chose their costumes from our dress up box! Cade went as Darth Vader. Chance went as a ninja. Cooper went as a pirate/ninja/cowboy! He wore pirate pants, a ninja shirt, and carried a pistol. That's what he wanted to be so that's we let him go as. They had a great time at trunk or treat playing games, visiting with friends, and of course collecting candy!

The Deffenbaughs won the costume contest with their Flintstone family costumes! They looked great! A lot of time went into making those costumes i"m sure.

Cade's History Project
Cade is having an incredible year in third grade. He has a wonderful teacher and some great classmates. The class was asked to complete a project on landmarks and symbols. They could choose anything they wanted. They had to give at least 5 facts about whatever they chose. Cade chose the Liberty Bell for his project. He researched the Liberty Bell, chose his 5 facts, and typed them on my computer. I helped him put it together. He was very proud of the finished product.
Pumpkin carving time
We had our adopted students over from Freed Hardeman for supper and pumpkin carving. We had a great time and ended up with some very nicely carved pumpkins. The boys love having their adopted siblings over. The students are so good to play with the boys and make them feel special. That means a lot to me and makes these students special to our family.

We have a great group of kids.
Fall Pinterest Party
We have a group of girls who get together every so often to eat do crafts! Our October gathering consisted of eating lots of fall foods and decorating pumpkins. I wish I had a picture of the whole group but I don't. There were some very neat pumpkins.

My pumpkin was very simple. Just used ribbon and hot glue!
Brothers
Having 3 boys close in age is challenging some days. There are days when I feel like all I do is tell them to quit arguing and being mean to each other. Hey my kids aren't perfect and kind to each other all the time. I'll be the first to admit that. There are days when I'm not sure they even like each other. On occasion there are those moments when I walk into the kitchen or another room and find them all sitting together helping one another, reading together or just playing nicely together. It's these moments that make me proud and I tell myself, "I will survive raising three boys!!" Seriously, they are good boys but raising kids in general is a challenge and some days are just tougher than others. I wouldn't trade them them for anything though.
Walked in the kitchen to find Cade teaching Chance and Cooper how to write in cursive!
Walking in High Cotton....
One of the many things I love about living outside of town is being surrounded by cotton fields! I love to watch it grow. I love taking pictures of the boys in it. And we love watching it get picked!! The fields look pretty sad after the cotton has been picked. One of our friends Tim who also attends church at Henderson with us is one of the guys who picks the cotton. He is great to let the boys ride in the cotton picker with him for a trip down the row to pick cotton. I know it slows him down a bit to stop and load the boys, three times, but he does it anyway! He doesn't seem to mind one bit. The boys think it's great.

watching the cotton shoot into the trailer is really cool
