The Harlem Wizards visited Chester County this past Thursday. I got to play in the game and be part of the Chester County All Stars!! We lost but we had lots of fun helping our school raise money! They are such an entertaining group!

Junior High Homecoming Week
A couple weeks ago Jr. High had their homecoming. On Character Day Cade went as Napoleon Dynamite. He looked hilarious!! Chance didn't want to dress up for that day. For Spirit Day they both went decked out in blue and white. They had a fun week dressing up.
Soccer
The boys have been enjoying their soccer season. They all have just 1 or 2 games left. Cooper's team is undefeated! Cade and Chance's teams have both won about half of their games. They all play very hard and are good little soccer players. They've all 3 scored goals this year too!

I turned 39!
For my 39th birthday we went to Zaxby's and I tried the insane wings!! They were hot!!! But boy were they GOOD!!!
Solar Eclipse
The boys got to experience a solar eclipse for the first time ever on Aug 21st. We didn't get a total eclipse here in Henderson but some places just a couple hours from here did. The videos were amazing! We got about 96% totality here so it never got very dark but we were able to watch the eclipse with our special glasses. Chad got out of school for the event so he was able to go watch it with Cooper. Even though it was not as dark as we'd hoped it would be we still enjoyed the experience and the kids' schools did different activities focused on the eclipse.
Cooper turns 10
Hard to believe this boy is 10 already!! He asked for a guitar for his birthday. He's been playing a little and learning some chords. I look forward to hearing him play as he learns some songs. He also got a couple new fidget spinners. They are the new popular item this year. They are everywhere!!
Creative Minds
These 2 can get pretty creative! They asked for paper and tape. Not too much time had passed when they showed me what they had created. Out of printer paper (quite a bit of it) and some tape they made rubber band guns. They actually worked!!
Uncle Reggie
Uncle Reggie came for a quick visit a few weeks ago. We hadn't seen him in a few years. We love sitting around talking with him. He's such a funny guy and has great stories of things he's experienced.
School Starts Back
The boys are never ready for school to start back. Ready or not....it always starts back! Cade didn't have to go the first day because he's in 8th grade. I forgot to take a picture on his first day. Chance started at the Jr. High and Cooper started at the Middle School.
More Garden Goodness
What a harvest! Chance and Cooper were good about checking the garden and picking for me most every day. Chance liked picking the egg plant. Cooper made sure to pick pepper and jalapenos every day! Noone really liked picking the okra because it makes us itch. I got to where I put on long sleeves and gloves before touching it. Why does something so yummy have to be so itchy to pick!
A Farm Visit
We don't get to the farm as often as I'd like but we were able to squeeze in a visit before school started back. The boys swam and rode the 4-wheeler. We ate a great lunch as always and just enjoyed visiting. The weather was great.
