Thanksgiving has been different this year.No big Holt family gathering and no traveling to see KY family. We stayed out with just the 5 of us Rah Rah. Dad and CR are still not getting around people so they had thanksgiving with just the two of them. The Covid cases have been rising in Henderson just like everywhere else in the country. My boys have take turns being quarantined due to exposure throughout the past few months. Chance is in the middle of his second quarantine. It was just best for us to stay put this year. With that said, it’s been nice just slowing down and staying home with family. We have had a great day full of WAY TOO MUCH food, football, Christmas decorating, and lots of laying around. Pretty much a perfect Thanksgiving! Next year I do hope we can see more of our family and celebrate with them.

State XC Meet
Cade and the cross country team ran state last Thursday. We placed 16th out of 24 schools. Cade ran it in 19:27. It was a tough course but our team did great! We enjoyed our first season with the high school team. It’s such a fun sport to watch. We look forward to watching these guys do great things next season. They will all be returning!
Basketball season starts for Coop.
Cooper’s season started off with a big win! They won the first 2 games and lost against Jackson Christian. They play two games this week.
Halloween
No dressing up this year but we did carve pumpkins! It was a yucky night and we all decided to just stay home.

Our Cross Country team won regionals last week in Crockett County. Our top 5 runners all ran in under 19 minutes! All 7 were under 21 minutes. Cade ran it in 18:56. He was the 21st runner out of 108. He was hoping for top 20 and missed it by a runner! He ran an awesome race. Carter placed first, Tucker second, Garret 8th, Stewart 15th and Cade 21st. Our team had 3 state qualifiers for their individual times....Carter, Tucker, and Garett. Our team blew the other teams away with our 1st place team score of 45! We run at state this Thursday!
