The Eagles won their first game of the season tonight against Fayette West. They are now 1-2. They played great and won 8-0. Cade got a Hat Trick (3 goals in one game) and was super excited about it! I love watching them play. Looking forward to a home game tomorrow night against St. Mary's.

A weekend full of ball
This past weekend the boys and I drove to Gibson County for a ball tournament. Cooper and Chad stayed home because Chad had to work at his school's Spring Festival. Cade and Chance played 3 games in about 4 hours. They played great and won all 3 games! They are definitely improving with each tournament they play in. We love our team Elite!
Farm Fun
Last week we were on Spring Break. Chad was on it the week before so we didn't go on a trip anywhere. Thursday I took the boys to Savannah to visit Papa and Clara Ruth. We went with lots of board games prepared to be stuck inside because of the threat of severe weather. Well the weather held off and we were able to spend the whole day outside. The boys searched for "treasure" Papa's metal detector. The actually found a few things like a bullet shell, a coke can tab, a screw, a crushed can, and even a penny. They had so much fun digging for things. We also went for a walk in the woods and searched for deer antlers (sheds). It was a perfect day at the farm. Clara Ruth made an amazing lunch of white chicken chili, cornbread, veggies, and coke cake. The boys tried to solve mind teasers too. That was fun but none of us were very good. Papa has always been good at those things.
