Yummy Fun!
This morning I baked some cookies for our bible study tonight. I left out some for the kids to decorate. They had so much fun decorating and eating the decorations!! They actually didn't make much of a mess! We have enjoyed doing many fall/halloween things. Tonight we will get to trick or treat at the university and then we will be going to a trick or trunk at a local congregation! The boys are looking forward to a fun filled night. I'm sure I will have lots of pictures to post after our night tonight! For now here are some pictures of our cookie decorating! The cookies I made are called cake mix cookies. They are the easiest things and taste really good too. All you need is a cake mix (any flavor) 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of oil. Mix the dry cake mix with the egg and oil and bake at 350* for 7-9 minutes (just keep an eye on them) They taste better if you don't let them get brown (I like mine chewy)! So easy and yummy!!
Hard at work decorating and eating!!
showing off his cookie..as you can tell by his mouth he enjoyed eating the icing too
don't you just want to take a big bite! :)
Cooper enjoyed a plain cookie and some sprinkles while the big kids worked
Can we say sugar overload!!

Pumpkin Carving
Each month our bible class tries to meet together at each other's homes and spend time with each other eating, talking, and doing various activities. It's a great way to get to know each other better and grow closer to one another. This month we went to some friends house to carve pumpkins and eat chili and yummy desserts. We had a great time but missed those who couldn't make it.

Cade's pumpkin
Mr. Gary helped (did all of) with Cade's pumpkin. The goal was for it to look like Cade's shirt. I think he did a great job!
some of the pumpkins carved tonight..they really looked much better than this. I couldn't get my camera to take a good picture without the flash so we could see them lit up.

Last soccer game!
This morning Cade played his last soccer game of the season! He has enjoyed playing soccer so much. My friend Becky (whose son played on the same team) made scrapbooks for the boys to take home after the game. They were very cute! Thanks Mrs. Becky!!
Cade scored one goal in the game today. We played a team that had several boys that we attend church with. That was neat! Both teams played very hard and did very well.

Pumpkin Painting
Last weekend we came home with 4 little pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Cade has been wanting to paint pumpkins since we got home with them. Well today we finally got around to painting them. The kids all chose the color they wanted and did a good job painting them all by themselves. Cade was the only one who actually painted the face on (with a little help from mom). For the rest I just printed off coloring sheets and used those for the faces. They turned out cute I thought!
working hard
can we say he's a little proud of his pumpkin:)
The completed pumpkins. The first and last pumpkin belong to my boys. The other 2 belong to the girls.

My Little Stinker!!
Cooper is such a mess. He is already getting into EVERYTHING!! He definitely keeps me busy. Although he can be a real stinker he is also my most cuddly child! He loves his mommy and can't stand for me to leave his site..that get's tiring too! When I am not home he is great for whoever is watching him but if I'm home he wants to be on my hip or in my lap! Some days can be pretty long because I have to listen to him scream because I won't hold him all day! At the moment he is sitting in my lap pulling my fingers away from the keyboard..lol! He doesn't want me doing anything that pulls my attention away from him! He wears me out but I love him to pieces! Here are a few pictures of him that show what a mess he can be!
While outside playing yesterday Cooper walked right into the nasty water in the ditch the runs beside our house. He was disgusting! I will mention that he had his newly washed shoes on too!! He was so happy in that nasty water.
This morning as I was getting things ready to leave for play group I walked into the den to find this! He was very proud of himself!!
I just thought these were funny. The material in this seat is torn. As you can see his bottom is nearly touching the floor! He was happy and sat there for quite a while looking at his book!

Family, Friends, and Fun
We are blessed with many wonderful friends. Today we were able to spend time with some of them. We spent all afternoon at the pumpkin patch and had a great time. The boys loved having their big friends and Rah Rah along for the trip. We all enjoyed several activities including putt putt golf, picking pumpkins, feeding catfish, playing at a huge playground, a train ride, wagon ride, and bouncing on party jumpers. What a great time with family and friends!
The whole group. The guy who took the picture cut part of Chad out of it.
The girls (minus Rah Rah- she was with the boys!) What a big help she is

Family Day at the park
Today was Chad's last day of fall break. We have enjoyed having him home this week. Today we spent some time at the park. We had a great time being together. The boys were exhausted by the time we got home.

Before going home we stopped by to see the horses and play some pretend baseball...that's baseball without gloves, bats, and balls! It was a great day!!

Happy Fall
My Little Beaver
Cooper loves to be on the trampoline especially by himself! He is the funniest thing to watch as he bounces (walks) around and falls all over the place. He loves it! Once he gets up there he does NOT want to get off. I usually remove him screaming very loudly because he wants back on! He really can't be up there with the bigger kids because they bounce too hard. They are good to sit on the side and let Cooper have a turn though. Yesterday the kids were playing with some toys on the trampoline (and weren't bouncing) so Cooper was up there with them doing his thing. For whatever reason he would go to the net and bite it. He looked like a beaver trying to bite his way out...although he didn't want off! I once again had to remove a very unhappy little boy! Life is rough!!!!

Fall Pictures
I love taking pictures in Fall! Actually I love taking pictures all year long but I especially love fall! Here are a few of our first attempts at fall pictures. It's not easy getting 3 little people to look at the camera and smile all at the same time. I managed to get a few decent pictures! These were taken at Rah Rah's (Chad's mom) house.
