Christmas Day!
It's the most wonderful time of the year! We love Christmastime for so many reasons. We are out of school and can just relax and enjoy a couple of weeks at home. We love listening to Christmas music and having the house all decorated. We love playing games and watching lots of movies. We just enjoy this time of year very much. Christmas day is always an exciting time. Even though the boys are getting older we still enjoy the excitement of waking up and opening gifts and then spending the entire day relaxing and enjoying all the things we've been blessed with. We have been very blessed again this past year!
Stockings!
We all opened our stockings on Christmas Eve as we always do. We opened a few small gifts too. Rah Rah came home with us after church and stayed the night. Boys threw out the traditional reindeer food and we were all set for Santa!!
Christmas Eve at Rah Rah's
We spent Christmas Eve day at Rah Rah's. Went over after worship and ate lunch and hung out all afternoon watching sports and just relaxing. It was a good afternoon.

Christmas with the Bakers!
Tonight we went to Lexington with the Bakers. We ate at T Birds pizza buffet and opened presents. The boys got some really cool team cups and gift cards. I got the cute shirt I'm wearing (got it a little early so I could enjoy wearing it) and the super cute beanie I'm wearing in the picture! We enjoyed visiting with each other over supper and then we all went to the Princess Theater and watched the newest Star Wars movie.....The Last Jedi. It was so good!!! Wow! We all loved it. That's the first time we've been to the Lexington theater. It's a really neat little place. Merry Christmas!!
76ers
Chance's 6th grade county league team had a great season. They ended the season 7-1. This group of boys had a great time together and Chad did a great job coaching them. They ended out the season with a fun game night at the church building.
Christmas With The Cousins
Last weekend we had Christmas with Cody, Lauren, and the girls. We don't get to see them very often but we sure enjoy them when we do get to visit. They are getting so big.
Scavenger Hunt
The youth group girls had a night planned to collect goods for the Benevolent Program at church. They would be visiting different houses collecting things and also doing a scavenger hunt. The boys and I had our own little scavenger hunt at the store purchasing the things the girls would be picking up from our house. We enjoyed this activity and even more knowing we would be helping a family in need. Love that our youth girls made this one of their holiday activities!
Christmas Mail!
Boys got a package from Uncle Reggie last week. They got a fun gift! Uncle Reggie always sends the neatest things. We will be enjoying indoor S'more's very soon!

Merry Christmas from Papa and Clara Ruth
The boys got to open early Christmas presents from Papa and Clara Ruth. They all got a new basketball of their favorite team and a new shirt of their favorite team or person. Cooper got a Duke ball and a Russell Westbrook basketball shirt, Chance got an Alabama ball and Derrick Rose basketball shirt, Cade got a Kentucky ball and a Manchester United soccer shirt. Thanks Papa and Clara Ruth! They will enjoy wearing and playing with these very much!
Perfect Panckaes!
I handed over my spot in the kitchen one evening because Chance wanted to make pancakes! I gave him a recipe and sat everything out he would need. He took it from there. He did a great job and loved it so much he made pancakes 3 days in a row!! Good thing our family loves pancakes!
4-H Christmas Craft
Chance and Cooper both love doing crafts. Cooper wanted to participate in the 4-H Christmas craft contest. We painted 3 coffee cans ans stuck some letters on them and I tied a few bows and we created this cute little decoration. He did help with painting, hot gluing, and sticking the letters on. It looks like he didn't do much but he really did help quite a bit. He got a blue ribbon!!
