As I was sorting through some things last night I came across 2 gift cards. I have no idea when I received them (at least a year ago) or if any money was still on them. We looked both cards up and they both had money. One for Olive Garden and one for Longhorn Steakhouse. We decided to call in orders and pick them up for supper today. With the quarantine they are only doing curbside pickup. We picked up our smorgasbord and went to the almost empty parking lot in the commons and had a picnic! It was a delicious picnic and got us away from the house for a little while!

Elvis is in the house!
I borrowed a 1,000 piece puzzle from Ashley to work while being quarantined. It was a challenge but after 13 hours Elvis is finished!! Cooper helped some and Cade and Chance both added about 5-10 pieces a piece. They weren’t much into working puzzles but they did contribute some! It was a fun way to spend time stuck inside.

Cooper’s Creation
Cooper spent about 6 hours over the course of a few days to finish the Star Wars LEGO set. Being stuck inside during a quarantine (along with lots of rain keeping us inside) leaves lots of time for creating.
S’mores
Today was a great day to get outside and get some fresh air. Being cooped up inside gets old. Tonight we built a fire and made s’mores. It was the perfect night for a warm fire.
Chester County Bear Hunt
Since we are all quarantined someone decided a ‘bear hunt’ would be fun for the county. Whoever wants to can put a bear or bears somewhere at their house and then everyone can drive around town ‘hunting’ for bears. I loved the idea and thought it was a neat thing to get everyone out but also keeping everyone socially distanced from one another. Here are the bears at our house that are waiting to say hello to anyone who drives by. We will be heading out tomorrow on our bear hunt through the town.

Making the best of the quarantine.
We are all under quarantine with the Coronavirus spreading and taking over our lives. It hit very close to home this past week when one of our own tested positive for the virus. Todd is improving everyday and we are all incredibly grateful for that. Since we are all quarantined and staying away from people as much as possible the neighborhood decided to spread some joy to one another. Everyone decorated their driveways with pictures and sayings or whatever they wanted. We all took a ‘chalk walk’ to see all the positive messages. Everyone kept their distance but all enjoyed the activity very much!

A Family Again
Last night Chad and I vowed to be a family again. We vowed to put God first and let Him lead our family. We vowed to raise the boys together. It was a big decision for the family and the good and right decision. We know we will be blessed by being together as a family again. Thankful for Sarah and Carl Hartman and the role they played. They are great friends. Dad and CR provided a little mini reception for us which was very nice.
