Mock Trial

As part of Cade's class at school he got participate in a Mock Trial. What a neat experience. They had the trial in a real courtroom with a real judge!!! The kids did an excellent job. This years year was titled, "Humpty Dumpty- Was it really an accident?" Cade had the part of a witness. He was Kirk Kingsman. I was very proud of him and every kid there. They were awesome!!

My little kingsman!

Cade's class with his teacher Mrs. Belinda...along with some others who helped throughout the trial process! A lot of hard work went into making this a success.

Papa and Clara Ruth (with Lilly Kate) came to see Cade

Pinterest Party- Ornament Swap

Once a month or so a group of girls get together and have a Pinterest Party! At these parties we bring a Pinterest recipe to share and do a craft of some sort. For our Christmas party we had an ornament swap. We ate some delicious goodies and made a couple of crafts to take home. We played "dirty Santa" with the ornaments! We had a good time, laughed a lot, ate way too much food, and enjoyed each other's company! I look forward to our get togethers very much!

This cheese "ball" was brought by Dana Blackwelder. She did a great job and boy was it yummy!

Can't remember who brought this but I thought it was super cute formed as a Christmas tree.

Kristen Hicks did this very tasty dessert ball! There were so many other great things. I just didn't get pictures of every single things.

Love this group of ladies!! They are a lot of fun!

I ended up (after I stole it...ha!) with Sherry Thompson's owl ornament! I love it!

Kristen took home my handmade paper ornament!

Cookie decorating with our college kids

We have some great adopted college kids. They are wonderful to do things with the boys. before getting out for Christmas break we had them all (except for Kenneth-our only boy who had to work) over for supper, a movie, and cookie decorating.

They made reindeer cookies and also decorated sugar cookies

Savannah Thanksgiving

Love spending time with my family at Thanksgiving. Food is always amazing. Love getting to sit around and chat with those we don't get to see often. Loved getting to love on Lilly Kate and Presley...the newest additions to the family!! So sweet!

This was my first time to actually see Presley in person. She was just precious!!

I know these two will grow up to be the best of friends!

Sweet Lilly Kate. Check out those boot tights!! Adorable!

Preschool Fall Program

Cooper's Fall program at preschool had a farm theme. The kids dressed in their best farm looking things and entertained us with some cute songs. Cooper sang every song and looked cute as he could be doing it! The teachers did a great job putting the program together. Can't believe he'll be starting Kindergarten next year.

Cooper got to stand near his best friend Claire on stage. She's in the camo!

All Dressed Up

Sunday mornings are about the only time we're all dressed up at the same time!! We're usually rushing out the door so we won't be late which doesn't leave time for picture taking. :-)  As soon as they get out of bible class and we head home they start taking clothes off! Boys! Every once in a while we get ready early and have time to snap some pictures!
