A little science experiemnt

Chance loves creating things. He's really good at it! One day in the kitchen I walked in and this is what I found. I think he had read about it in a book. As you can see it worked! Not one drop of water spilled from the bag. He was very proud of his little experient. Who knows what he might create one day!

Babies Galore!!

I was honored to host a triple baby shower for 3 of our expectant mothers. Allison is expecting her fourth (a boy), Both Chelsea and Bonnie are expecting their second babies....a boy and a girl. One thing we have in abundance at Henderson Church of Christ is babies!! I love that we have so many little ones. There are always sweet babies to love on.

A great day!

Cade made the greatest decision of his life today! Feb 3rd became his "new birth" day! We are so incredibly proud of him and the young man he is becoming. We pray he will continue to grow in his faith. Chad had the honor of baptizing Cade. It was a very special moment. Cade had some of his closest friends there to support him.

These are some of our boys closest friends. We are blessed with some great families in Henderson. I'm glad that my boys will have these guys and girls to grow up with. Sure makes things easier when you are surrounded with people who want to live godly lives.

One of the boys biggest fans. They love Rah Rah so much. We are so thankful she lives in the same town and is able to be there for all of the special events in the boys lives. Don't know what we would do without her!

Snow!

We didn't get much snow this year but we managed to get enough to build a snowman.

4-H

Chance won a first place ribbon for his piggy bank. His coke machine bank was a fun piggy bank to make. Good job Chance!!

Basketball season has come to an end!

The boys have had a great basketball season. Always sad to see it come to an end. Chad was able to coach their teams again. He loves coaching them and they love having him as their coach.  Cooper's team did very well. They only lost to one team. Cooper shot great from outside!

Cade and Chance got to play on the same team. This is was Cade's last year in little league basketball. Their team went undefeated! They were awesome. Cade played point most of the time. Chance was our big man in the middle and he played awesome for his first year in the middle school league. They played very well together. I loved seeing them get along on the court and encourage one another. That doesn't happen at home!

We won the tournament.

We played Brandon Young's team for the championship! It was a hard fought battle but we came out on top. These were both great teams with some great kids!

This picture shows just how great these coaches were. They had a prayer together after the game and showed great sportsmanship!

Cade and Carter have played on the same team since their first year in little league ball. These boys know how to work together. It's been fun watching them learn and grow into ball players! They also played together on the Junior High team. I look forward to watching them play more ball together over the next several years!

It's always hard when you have to play against your good friends. Jagger played a great game!

Papa and Clara Ruth are so good to support the boys. They always try to come watch at least one game each season.

Me and my ball players!! Love these guys.

Cade finished up his first year of Junior High. He loved it and had a great year. They didn't win many games but he made some great memories and friends.

Chance's birthday!

Hard to believe it has been 10 years since this boy made his speedy entrance into the world! He makes everyday a little brighter. He has a great sense of humor. He is a good friend to those around him. He is also a little/big brother which means he can also be very aggravating at times. He knows just the right thing to do to get on Cade and Cooper's nerves! As I type this I can hear him upstairs arguing with Cooper. It's a daily thing! I guess that's what brothers are for, right? He loves basketball and soccer and plays both very well. He is a good sport (unless he's playing against his brothers) and a great teammate. Happy Birthday, Chance!
