Jr. High soccer

Cade is enjoying his first year of Jr. High soccer. He's gotten to play a little and done very well. we are 6-0. They have a very good team. We have 3 more games left in the regular season.

We have 3 Josh's on the team. 2 of them are 6th graders along with Cade. He enjoys having his friends on the team with him.

Happy 4th birthday Lilly Kate

Lilly Kate turned 4. Because of soccer we weren't able to make it to her birthday party. We took her present to church and gave it to her after bible class. She loves unicorns right now. We got her a light up unicorn pillow pet and a unicorn cup. She loved them!! We love you Lilly!

Lads to Leaders

We had a great Easter weekend in Nashville. The weekend is full of nonstop activity. The group from Henderson was very well behaved and represented the church very well. I was so proud of our boys and the others in the group for all their hard work throughout the year.

Our boys participated in year round song leading and oral bible reading.

Chance and Jagger with their bible bowl trophies.

Cade's puppet team got finalist.

Cooper did a great job reading.

It's bible bowl time!!

The boys also worked at the AP booth anytime they had a break from events. They loved getting to help Mr. Kyle.  They were the salesmen! They were able to tell people about the materials.

The boys getting ready to deliver their speeches.

Exhausted from a busy weekend. We enjoyed worshipping with about 9,000 Christians at the Opryland Hotel.

Shiloh

We took a day during our spring break and went to Shiloh with Mrs. Leslie, Ty, and his cousin Nate. We packed a lunch a made a day out of it. Cade had stayed the night with his friend Josh so he didn't go with us. We had a good time and enjoyed walking around the park.

The boys played football in one of the open fields. Cooper got tackled by Nate and got hit in the mouth. It chipped his tooth a little. Thankfully it wasn't too bad.

We may have a preacher!

Several of the young men at church participated in worship the week before Lads to Leaders. Some leds singing, some read scripture, some prayed, and some gave speeches. Cade was one of the ones to give his speech. He did an outstanding job. He just seems so comfortable in front of people. I was never like that as a kid. We were incredibly proud of him. His speech was about "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." This was great practice for our boys and getting them ready for Lads.

Beta!

Cade was inducted into the Beta Club this year. He works very hard in school and it pays off. He will get to attend the Beta convention next school year. He's looking forward to going with some of his closest friends.

Boys birthday celebration

Chance waited patiently for his party. His birthday was over a month ago. We did a combined one with he and Cade again this year. They played coneball and some other games Chad came up with. Between the two of them they had about 40 friends at the party. They had a blast!

Rah Rah took us to Los Portales for Cade's birthday. He got sung to and got a special dessert!
