At the end of each year 3rd grade puts on what they call "Market Day". They earn money (not real) throughout the semester for good behavior and get to use that money to buy things from the market. The kids get to come up with an item to sell or a service of some sort. They are in charge of setting up their booth and making their market sign. Cooper made maracas, chocolate spoons, and cookies for his stand. He sold lots of things and was able to go around his room and to the other 3rd grade rooms and buy from others. It's a fun day for the kids.

5th grade field day with Chance
Chance had an awesome field day at the middle school. The weather could not have been more perfect for a fun day outside. They had relays, water games, obstacle courses, and several other events. The tug of war event wes the last event of the day. Chance's class went undefeated! They were super excited! He's had a great year in Mrs. Mcmanus' class.
Last soccer game and party!
Claudia from El ranchitos and also Jameson's mom threw a party for the CC soccer team. She is such a wonderful person and sure loves the soccer team.
We played USJ in the tournament and lost. We had a great season!
3rd grade Fun Run and Field Day
The last couple weeks of school are always full of activities. East Chester had their Fun Run right before TNReady testing. Cooper ran 44 laps! We had Field Day last week. We had a beautiful day for it. Cooper's class (Mrts. Jill's room) went undefeated in the 3rd grade for Tug of War!! He had a great day and even got to leave school a few minutes early with me which he was very happy about.
Lads to Leaders
One of the boys' favorite weekends out of the year is Lads weekend. They love getting to spend the weekend at the OpryLand Hotel. They work hard al year long and finally get to do the things they've spent hours preparing themselves to do. They all gave speeches and bible bowl. Cade and Cooper participated in puppets. They did oral bible reading and all 3 participated in year round bible reading. I'm very proud of the job they did and the leaders they are becoming.
Our soccer player
The Jr. High soccer team had a great season. They got put out in the second game of the tournament but they played their hearts out. They ended the season 7-4. They improved a lot throughout the season. We are looking forward to watching him play more in the future.
Top 5 in 7th grade
Cade has had another great year at the Jr. High. He's been involved in many clubs and activities. He played 2 sports also. Even with his being a part of so many things going on he managed to keep his grades up and was named Top 5 (he was actually #3) in the 7th grade class. We are so proud of him and his drive to do well in all things. Keep up the good works buddy!
