ICYC AP camp

We had another outstanding week at ICYC this year. This was the 7th year for AP week at camp. Each year just keeps getting better! I take a lot of pictures during sports and free time but that's not all we do at camp! We have bible classes each day where we learn and grow and we have amazing speakers each night. The singing is amazing too! We have lots of fun playing sports and doing crafts but we also enjoy making new friends and growing closer to other Christians and God. It's one of our favorite weeks of the year.

This year Pearce, Mary Katherine, and Tucker went with us again. We also took Josh for the first time. He loved it and is already making plans to go back next year.

Cub Camp

Cooper had a great time at Cub Camp at FHU. This was his last year to get to be a part of cub camp. This was also his first year to be a part of Coach Sanderson's camp. He loved it just as much as he always has. Coach sanderson and his helpers put on a great camp for these young kids. Chad helped with camp again this year. Cooper won boy camper of the week for his team. Way to go Coop!!

Bible Class Retreat

This past weekend we attended our bible class retreat at Nathan Bedford State Park. This was our 5th year for the retreat. It's such a beautiful place to go for the weekend. It's nice to get away with our bible class and spend time together for a few days. The kids love it. We enjoy being together playing games, singing, having devos, and just growing closer to one another. We look forward to next year!

Last day of School/Awards Day

These boys had a great year in each of their schools. Cooper and Chance both will be moving to new schools next year. They have excelled in their schools and I know will do the same next year. Cade will be starting his last year at Jr. High next year. They are growing up so fast. Cooper earned several awards today including top math and reading score in 3rd grade, attendance award, citizenship award (I'm very proud of this one), and the principal's award. way to go Cooper! Chance received a perfect attendance award and the "Theodore Roosevelt" award for showing leadership, courage, and strength of character in his classroom. Cade received the Presidential award for having all A,s for the year and he received a special Social Studies awards from Mrs. Showers. The boys were blessed with amazing teachers and we are very thankful for that.

These guys all read at least 1,000,000 words this year. Cooper read 3 and 1/2 million!

Proud of this boy!

Mrs. Jill taught both Chance and Cooper.

AR field trip

Monday I got to help chaperone a group of 20 kids on their field trip. These were East Chester's top AR readers. Each child on the trip read at least 500,000. We enjoyed the train museum, Snappy Tomato Pizza, and Pinson Mounds. I loved having Cooper along on the trip! The kids were so good and we had another beautiful day.

Yo Tooth Fairy!

Cade pulled a tooth a few days ago and then couldn't find it! He wrote the tooth fairy this note:

Yo Tooth Fairy,
Something happened to my tooth and it is not on the counter anymore. If it's okay with you, I'm using this as a substitute.

Thanks,
