Beta

Cade took his last Beta trip as a Junior High student right before Thanksgiving break. He went with abut 85 students. They had a great trip to the Opry Land Hotel in Nashville.

4th grade ornament contest

 

Cooper won 3rd place with his recycled Christmas ornament for the Chester County Recycle and waste Center.  It will be hanging on the court house Christmas tree this Christmas.

Parent Night at CCJHS

 8th Grade Night was combined with parent involvement night at the Junior High. Both Cade and Chance had projects set up to show the parents. Chance's class has been working on biomes. His group was given the Taiga to do a project on. They had to find information and pictures about their biome and also have something physical to show related to their biome. Chance created his by making fake snow and putting plants and animals found in the Taiga. He and his partners did a great job. Cade's class had to come up with a game to teach the periodic table. He did a game similar to candy land. We were able to go in and play a few minutes and let him show us how the game worked. We enjoyed getting to see some of the things the Junior High is doing with our boys.

8th grade Night

 Cade's last home game was against Hardin County. We lost but sure enjoyed getting to see him play. We've enjoyed the past 3 years watching him grow as a basketball player.

Thanksgiving Turkey

Cooper had to disguise a turkey and write about it this year in 4th grade. He disguised his turkey as a wizard and wrote a really cute story about it! 

Color Run

The boys and I participated in our first Color Run back in October. It was really fun. Chance was sick and wasn't able to run with us but Cade and Cooper enjoyed it with me. We had great weather and got to run it with several school/teacher friends. It was a fund raiser for East Chester. I'm not sure how much money they raised but I'm sure everyone who participated agreed that it was a very fun day! 

We all left covered in lots of color!! 

 

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween the boys dressed as rappers!! They looked awesome. Cade missed out on trunk or treat because of basketball. We did hit the town with a few friends on Halloween night and let the boys do some trick or treating. We had a great time.
