Bulletin Boards!

 We have our Lads to Leaders convention coming up at the end of the month. These 2 boys signed up to do bulletin boards. We spent about 31/2 hours one afternoon getting these done! I helped them some but made them do as most of the work. They turned out super cute!

Jersey Night!

Boys had jersey night at their Jazz practice the other night!! How cool is that!!! It was neat seeing all the different jerseys they each wore.

Dr. Suess Night at CCMS

Thursday night was Parent Involvement night at the Middle School. In honor of Dr. Suess' birthday they has a Dr. Suess theme!  They got to watch a Cat in the Hat video and then had a scavenger hunt that focused on Social Studies. It was obvious a lot of thought and planning went into making the night a success.

 Cooper and Jaxon had a good time!

The Jazz!

Every year Chad coaches the boys little league ball teams. Usually when the little league season is over he pulls together some guys and creates a "travel" team. They don't travel far. Jackson mostly. They have a team and call themselves the Jazz! They have played in a few tournaments and some play days. They have grown as players and are so much fun to watch. They placed second in their last tournament. They played their hearts out. It was a tough loss though because they lost in OT with a shot at the buzzer. We couldn't be more proud of the way they played. Go Jazz!!!

 

This boy!!!

 I picked Cooper up from school last week and he got in saying it had been the best day ever!!! Every mom loves to hear that coming form their children who have been at school all day! He was nominated for student of the month for Feb. He had some very nice things said about him from his teacher. He got to stand in front of the whole school while they were read!! He also won 1st place in the bookmark challenge! Woo Hoo!! He worked hard on his bookmark. His great day didn't stop there. He placed third in the school for his Far, to Fork poster! He got a $15 check. Needless to say, he was all smiles coming out of school that day! He's a hard worker and a great kid. I'm so proud of his drive to do well. 

Lecturships

The boys and I went over during lectureships one afternoon and all enjoyed a "Mocha Me Happy" coffee drink!! It's the best!!

Birthday Celebration!

We celebrated this boys last week! Hard to believe he's been a part of our lives for 14 years. It has flown by. He is such a caring and conscientious child. He has a great heart and strives to always do the right thing. We are so proud of the young man he's becoming. He does well at school and is a great friend and HAS many great friends! He is blessed.  We celebrated by going to Los Portales. he ordered the foot long burrito!

We had a joint birthday party for the boys a few weeks ago. We had about 40 kids there and they played some great coneball!
