Happy 15th Birthday Cade

Can't believe this guy is 15 already!! He was JUST born wasn't he!! He's such a great kid with a huge heart. He's a good friend to others, he works hard in school and it shows, he always wants to do the right thing, and he is a great leader! He's also a little stubborn and hard headed and worries a lot about stuff......but no one is perfect, right?? LOL! He's a fantastic kid and a look forward to seeing what great things he accomplishes in his life.   I've loved watching him grow into a super young man.

He started his birthday off with a milkshake from Jack's and ended it with a great meal from Los Portales! He will celebrate with his friends Friday night. he's looking forward to that!

The Globetrotters!

The guys went to Corinth Thursday night to see the GLOBETROTTERS! They had a blast and said they were so much fun to watch!! They got to see a former FHU student and basketball player. We enjoyed watching Chandler as an FHU Lion during his years at Freed. Now he's joined the Globetrotters. That's so cool. The boys said he was one of the 'main guys'. They of course had to get a picture with Chandler "Bulldog" Mack!! They were impressed with him and all the Globetrotters.

How we spend most Saturdays

Chance's season has ended for now. He will start back up toward the end of February with some travel ball. Cade's high school season is still going and Cooper's season is still going. Most Saturdays we find ourselves sitting in a gym somewhere watching our 5th graders battle it out on the court. They are improving and learning and growing as players. We haven't finished on top very many times this season but they sure are fun to watch. Cooper sure loves to play ball.

Meet Principal Thompson

Cooper got to be "Principal for the Day" on Friday! He'd earned enough Eagle Bucks to cash them in and he chose this for his reward. He had a blast!!! As acting principal for the day he allowed all students to untuck their shirts!! That made him very popular. He went around with Mr. Kirk and observed teachers, took assessments with the students, worked lunch duty, handed out Eagle Bucks for good behavior, and played P.E. when he wanted to!! He enjoyed hanging out in the office and discussing the important things in life with his partner Mr. Kirk. They discussed sports!! Haha!! I was told he took his job very seriously (as he does most everything in life). The office staff is oretty sure he'll either be a motivational speaker or the CEO of a company one day! We shall see. Either way.....he enjoyed his day as Principal.

Lego Fun

Cooper and Chance both get Lego sets for Christmas. After many hours of work they both finished their masterpieces. They did a great job! Cooper put together the capitol building and Chance put together the Statue of Liberty.

Happy 13th Birthday Chance

Can't believe this guy is 13 already! We had a great day. They slept in till noon because of New Years Eve. Then he woke up to "Happy Birthday" pancakes. We went to Jackson to shop for some more khaki shorts which he did not enjoy!! It needed to be done. We did enjoy a fabulous meal at China Pan and they used their Starbucks gift cards and enjoyed yummy treat from there. Chance got a new Broncos hoodie that he loves.

Happy New Year

Cade brought in the New Year hanging out with some of his friends at Scott and Ally Roger's house. The Roger's are always good to give the kids a fun and safe place to hang out. We are thankful for them and for all the great friendships found in this group of kids.
