Tennessee 4-H Congress

Cade spent the last 3 days in Nashville at 4-H Congress. He had a great time and learned so much. It was honor for him to be chosen (along with 3 other Freshman)to go on this trip. He developed some great new friendships and strengthened some current friendships. He got to meet the govener of Tn Bill Lee and several other state representatives including Kirk Haston who represents our area of TN. I'm so thankful he was able to go on this trip. I hope it gives him a deeper appreciation for our state and the people who help guide it.

Win for the Eagles!

Yesterday was my first chance to watch the Jr. High play soccer. They and high school have had games on the same days up until now. I was excited to get to finally watch Chance play!! He played great! We beat Fayette West 8-0!! Go Eagles!!

Hope Race 5k

Cooper, Chance, and I ran a 5k on Saturday. We ran to help raise money to feed needy children in Chester County. HOPE stands for Helping Other People Eat! It's in memory of Hope Shull who loved to run and loved to serve others. It was a cold morning but we all finished and were glad we were able to participate. I won 1st in my age group (40-49) with a time of 26:08. The boys both did great with their times too! Proud of them for getting up going with me.

Coneball Party

Boys had the annual combined cone ball party on Friday night! It was a blast! They had 40 of their friends there to celebrate! They look forward to this each year. I think their friends enjoy it as much as they do! They split teams up this year a little differently. It was Cade and friends vs. Chance and friends. They all loved that and played a really great close game!

National Beta Club

Cooper was inducted into the National Beta Club this past Friday. This is a first for the 5th graders in our county! It was a very nice ceremony. We are so proud of him and his hard work in school.
