Homecoming Week!

Cade had a fun homecoming week as a sophomore. Their class didn’t win any awards but I’m convinced they had the most fun! They worked so well together and came up with a great theme for their hall and float. I love this class. They get along so well and know how to have fun. 

Youth Retreat

Henderson youth group along with Savannah and Hamilton groups spent the weekend at Maywood. They had a great fall retreat fellowshipping with each other. They are part of a great group of teenagers and I’m thankful they get to participate in so many things with this group. They came home tired but had a great weekend.  

Permit

Cade went to Savannah today to get his permit. He passed!!! Said he only missed 1 question. He’s excited to get to start driving some. I’m not sure how excited I am about this 😳 but I am proud of him for passing. In another 6 months he’ll be ready for his actual license and that’s hard to believe! 

Dude Perfect

The boys went a couple weeks ago to see Dude Perfect. They love watching this group of guys perform crazy trick shots. They had a great time. They’ve been creating some more trick shot videos since returning home from the trip. 

Back to School

The boys are back in school. The summer flew by. We have a sophomore , 8th grader and 6th grader! Can’t believe how quickly these boys are growing up. Hoping they all have a wonderful year. They sure are some great boys. 

 

Brother Bake Off!

The boys have been hooked on watching cooking shows on Netflix! The latest is a British cook off series. I’ve enjoyed watching it with them. They decided they wanted to bake something. I let them choose a cake mix and make what they wanted. I helped very little. Chance and Cooper enjoyed making carrot cake desserts. Cade continued to watch the baking show from the couch 😂....baking is not his thing!

The Lion King

The boys and I went to see The Lion King today! It was so good!! I had tears in my eyes as I watched the remake of one of my all time favorite Disney movies!! They did such a great job with this movie.. The boys enjoyed it as much as I did!
