We are all under quarantine with the Coronavirus spreading and taking over our lives. It hit very close to home this past week when one of our own tested positive for the virus. Todd is improving everyday and we are all incredibly grateful for that. Since we are all quarantined and staying away from people as much as possible the neighborhood decided to spread some joy to one another. Everyone decorated their driveways with pictures and sayings or whatever they wanted. We all took a ‘chalk walk’ to see all the positive messages. Everyone kept their distance but all enjoyed the activity very much!

A Family Again
Last night Chad and I vowed to be a family again. We vowed to put God first and let Him lead our family. We vowed to raise the boys together. It was a big decision for the family and the good and right decision. We know we will be blessed by being together as a family again. Thankful for Sarah and Carl Hartman and the role they played. They are great friends. Dad and CR provided a little mini reception for us which was very nice.

Coneball party
After the race we had Cade and Chance’s coneball party. It was a hit as always. Had about 35 kids there. They played an intense battle that ended with a 14-15 score. Winning team got cake and ice cream first.....😂.....they all enjoyed lots of food, games, and fun!
Race for Hope!
Yesterday was a busy but great day!! We started out the day running a 5K. The boys and I all ran the race together. I loved having them run it with me. Cade and I won first in our age groups, Chance won second, and Coop finished still running!! They were all in the 10-19 age group and there were several in that group. So proud of all of them. It was a beautiful day and the race raised around $6000 to feed needy children in our county. Wow!!

Happy 16th birthday Cade!
Facebook post: How is it possible? I blinked and somehow this guy turned 16!! He’s an amazing kid and I’m so proud to be his mom. He brings so much joy (and sometimes frustration....I mean he IS 16 😂) to our lives. Wouldn’t trade him for anything! Happy 16th Cade!!
He had a great day besides freezing at soccer practice! It was not a great day for being outdoors. He got ice cream tonight after church. He started his day off with a breakfast fruit pizza. His new shoes came in the mail. It was a good day!

Red Robin Rocks
The guys and the Deffenbaughs exchanged Christmas gifts and realized they’d gotten each other the same thing......Red Robin gift cards! Tonight they all went out to enjoy their meal. The boys love the bottomless fries and bottomless root beer floats! Chad enjoyed a bottomless cream soda. They all left stuffed! It was a good time for everyone.
