More snow pictures!

I just love pictures in the snow. It makes the prettiest backdrop! I took advantage of it before the sun and warmer temps started melting it away. 

 

It’s Snow Much Fun!

We have enjoyed our week in the snow so much!! It was an unexpected week out of school and we loved every minute of it!! The temperatures are supposed to warm up tomorrow and Sunday so we expect to see the snow melting away. It’s been the prettiest snow we’ve seen in a while. We have gone sledding, built a snowman, eaten snow cream, and just enjoyed being home. 

 

Birthday boy!

This guy turned 15 on January 1st! Being snowed in and trying to catch up on things made me realize I never posted this. I totally thought I had!! Sorry Chance! Better late than never. You are an amazing kid and we couldn’t be more proud of you and the young man you are. You work hard in school and are kind to others. You are a great friend and a good example to those around you. You show Christ by your example and attitude. You are just a great guy!  Keep being exactly who you are and you will do great things!! We love you so much! 

I made Christmas Tree cake dip for his birthday! It was a big hit! 

 

Winter Storm!

Last week they started calling for a winter storm. It came! We didn’t get as much as other parts of the country but we got  the extreme cold, ice and some snow. The temp yesterday at one point was 8*! That’s cold for West TN! Yesterday afternoon the snow finally started to fall on all the ice that fell Sunday and early Monday. I love snow!! We got out and enjoyed it for just a little bit. 

Schools are out so we get a few extra days out. We plan to get out later today and sled down at the Deffenbaugh’s house. This morning when we got up the temp was 6* and felt like -5! 

 

Cheering on the Packers

        We are hoping to see the Packers in the Super Bowl! 

* They lost but we still enjoyed the game....I’m not sure Cade enjoyed it very much. 

 

Basketball Season

This basketball season has been rocky. Boys have quarantined multiple times and missed games. When they did get to play we enjoyed watching them. Loved getting to see both Cade and Chance play together for a few games. The season has ended and they are all ready to get on the soccer field! 

 

Happy New Years Eve/Day

We stayed up late and watched the ball drop. We played some games and drank sparking grape juice! Here’s to surviving 2020!!
