Who drives 2 1/2 hours and pays for an overnight stay to watch a 3.14 mile race? Cross Country parents!! We had an absolute perfect day for a race! Our team did well and Cade ran a great race! He ran it in 18:21 and set a PR! 

 

Cross Country Runners

Cross country season has been great!! The boys have done very well. Cooper’s season is over. All he has left is the State Qualifiers meet to see where he ranks with the state runners. If he qualifies we have a state race. If he doesn’t then his season will be over but he will be able to see where he stands with the states fastest runners in his division.. He’s had a great season!!  Cade still has several races left. Next week he will run Best of the West. He’s improved his time this season and set new PRs. Watching these guys run is so much fun!! They leave it all on that race course at each meet! 

 

Happy Birthday Cooper

And just like that, this guy turned 14!! He woke up to donuts for breakfast yesterday. We spent the day at a seminar given by Kyle Butt! It was a good day. Today we took off to Jackson after worship and Bible class and ate lunch at Cheddars for his birthday. It was SO good!!! Coop had steak and coconut fried shrimp. He said it was amazing! Everything was really good. We love you Coop and are so proud of you. Happy 14th! 

 

Cross Country Begins

Cade and Coop has their first cross country meets a couple weeks ago. Coop placed 22nd overall at the Jr. High jamboree at Jackson State. Cade placed 7th in his first race. The team placed 1st overall!! We are looking forward to a great season. We also had Meet the Eagles the week of their first race and they had America night at the first football game. School started and we got busy busy busy! They are very involved and I love that they are so involved with the school activities and their friends.

 

First day of school

These guys are ready for another year!  I wasn’t there when they left for their first day but they took it upon themselves to take first day of school pictures! I’ve trained them well 😉…. I was very happy when they sent them to me! 

 

Back to school fun!

Last hurrah before starting back to school! Spent the day in Jackson. Went to Red Robin, boys went to theater, and I went shopping! Boys also had the Waterslide bash which is always a blast! Start of senior, sophomore, and 8th grade year. 

 

Basketball camp

Behind on updates! Boys had a busy summer that ended with basketball camp. This was their last year to all 3 he at camp together.
