KY Thanksgiving

We were glad to get to make the trip to Kentucky this year for Thanksgiving. We were not able to go last year due to Covid. It was great seeing all of our family there. 

Before coming home we made a stop at the salvage grocery store there. We love that place! When we got home the boys sorted through everything. 

 

 

Baby Elsie

Paden and Sarah welcomed Elsie a month ago! She is absolutely precious! We enjoyed sweet snuggles. Chance was at a friend event and missed meeting his newest little cousin. He’ll make up for the missed snuggles later. 

 

 

Beta Convention

 Cade and Chance were able to attend the National Beta Convention in Nashville this past week. They had a great time and made some great memories. This was Cade’s first Highschool Beta convention due to Covid not allowing it for the past 2 years. So glad he was able to go one time before graduation. 

Chance came home with a 5th place plaque for his on-site painting. Every Beta member had to do one extra activity. Cade took the Quiz bowl quiz but their team didn’t make the top 8. Still proud of him and his team! Chance chose art. He didn’t know he’d be given a specific topic on site. They were told to paint an abstract nature picture. He did and placed!! 

Both boys came home tired and happy with great stories! 

Jr High basketball begins

 The season started a couple weeks ago. We’ve had a rough start but we are enjoying watching Cooper play. 

Here we go!

 I should have posted this on Thursday. The boys dressed up and looked sharp as they did their walk out through the school and headed off to State! 

State Meet

Our guys showed out at the State Meet in Hendersonville today. We were hoping for 3rd place and only missed it by ONE point!! We placed 4th out of 31 teams. Cade placed 71st out of 251 runners. Tucker placed 3rd, Carter 8th, Garrett somewhere in the 20s. They all ran a great race!! They set a school record and placed higher than any other time in the school’s history! We have loved watching these guys run!! They are great friends and encouragers. The relationships they have formed are something special. We are sad to see Cade run his last Highschool race but we are so proud of him and his dedication. 

Regional Champs!

Our guys won the Regional Championship again this year!! We ran this race a week ago. Today they ran the State Meet! That post coming next!
