Senior Activities- Senior Sunday and Baccalaureate

Senior Sunday was very nice. He congregation provided the 16 seniors with a nice meal and lots of gifts!! Watching each senior slideshow was very touching! They went from babies to graduating overnight it seems! Bing apart of the Henderson youth group has been such a big part of Cade‘s life. Bill and Jared have been wonderful for our kids.
Sunday night we had baccalaureate. It was very nice as well. Cade had to get a picture with one of his favorite teacher Mr. Melton!

Senior Activities- School Walk

The seniors did their walk through the schools. I love this tradition. I cry every year just seeing these kids walk through their elementary snd middle schools for the last time. This year one of those kids was mine! The students love seeing these seniors walk the halls. The teachers love seeing their former students again. It was a great thing to see!! Cade saw two of his favorites…Melanie Shelton and Cassie Cupples.

Senior Activities- Awards Day

So many activities surround a seniors last week of school. Awards Day was one of the first. I was thankful to be able to walk over and watch our seniors get awarded for their accomplishments. Cade received many honors and also received a $1,000 scholarship from the alumni association. We are so proud of him!

Mother’s Day

Being a mom has been my dream since as far back as I can remember! My dream came true 18 years ago. Being a mom has filled me with so much joy. These boys fill my heart with so much pride and joy. They are incredible guys! I’m blessed to have them call me mom.

Last night we enjoyed The Wall for supper and tried the special shakes. Today we ate lunch at Rah Rah’s after worship and then I did some yard work, went running, vacuumed out my car and enjoyed the gorgeous day. We finished the day worshipping again and eating Taco Bell provided by Cade! It was a great Mother’s Day!

Senior Night

Cade played his last regular season game at home at the end of April.  This guy has played soccer since he was old enough to start youth league. He always plays with everything he has. He is so much fun to watch! We start our district tournament next week. We are hoping for a few more games before calling it quits on his soccer journey! Let’s go Eagles!

Honors Scholar Banquet

Last Sunday the honors scholars were recognized. Cade will be graduating 3rd in his class of 180 students. He has worked hard throughout his schooling and we are so very proud of his drive to do well. He will graduate in just over a week! It’s hard to believe he’s heading into the next phase of life. We know he’ll continue to work hard.

All of class officers and Student Government members were recognized as honors scholars!! What a great group of leaders!!

Guys night out!

Last Saturday was prom night for the senior class. Cade and some friends (Carter Welch, Zane Bolton, Evan Eads, Owen Osburn, and Austin Ketchum) opted for a night of disc golf, Buffalo Wild Wings, basketball, and arcade games. They even invited the dads to come along. They had the best time!
