Disney/Universal Trip for Cade’s graduation

I thought I had already posted pictures of this trip and I realized today (over a month later) that I hadn’t! Whoops!  This is a small fraction of the pictures that were taken. We had an amazing time at both Disney and Universal. It was the most fun way to celebrate Cade’s graduation. We ate the best food, rode every ride we could, watched shows, and walked several miles a day!! 

 

FHU Lion!!

Today was move in day for Cade! So hard to believe this day has finally come! He’s ready and excited to begin this phase of his life. We couldn’t be more proud of him than we are. We look forward to watching him grow and spread his wings. He’s going to do great things. He’s got a great roommate in Bo Scott and great suite mates in two of his closest friends since birth….Carter and Lawson! Hard to believe we are now FHU parents!!! Go Lions! 

 

Happy Birthday Chad!

 I realized I forgot to post Chad‘s birthday which was on the 12th. He turned 26 again!! He’s been doing that now for 20 years 😂. Seriously though he had a great birthday with a homemade German chocolate cake made by his mother! Happy 46! 

Happy Father’s Day

We celebrated Father’s Day Sunday. For 18 years he has been the best dad to these boys! He sets the best Christian example for what a dad and husband should be. If they will follow his example they will be amazing dads and husbands one day too! 

We are a big meal at home Saturday night and then Sunday lunch at Rah Rah’s house. He got a reading (wrap around your neck) light. Cade went and picked out drinks and candy on his own. 

ICYC- AP Week

We had another amazing week at church camp!! It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year!! Such a special week of camp directed by the staff of AP ( Apologetics Press). You just won’t find a better bunch of people. This was Cade’s last year as a camper so that was sad. He’s been going for 12 years since AP week started! He’s hoping to go back next year as part of the staff. We hope that will happen. It was a week full of great bible class lessons on Jesus, dress up days and morning DJ time with Jeremy Pate, sports, awesome night time lessons, swimming, creek time, wonderful singing, silly songs with Rob, amazing food, and cabin inspection competitions, and even an overnight power outage due to a storm. Just an all around fun and spiritually uplifting week! It was totally worth all 8 loads of laundry!! 

 

Ballpark fun

Last night we headed to the ball park to watch Harper and Halle play ball! The boys went prepared with signs. The girls absolutely loved their fan section and they showed out with a big 15-5 win!!
