KY Christmas

We made a quick trip to KY for Christmas. We were only able to stay for 24 hours due to a winter storm threat that was going yo hit the whole country! We had a great time even though it was cut short. We enjoyed tacos and dirty Santa with the family. Ended the night with fun Christmas  games. Chance dominated!

Christmas parade and Christmas dinner with Deffenbaughs

Each year we meet the Deffenbaughs for a meal. This year we decided on the new Los Portales in North Jackson. It was delicious!

We stopped by the dorm after dinner with the Deffenbaughs and visited with Amanda and her crew that was in for Christmas.

The Christmas parade was great. Becky, Diane, and I met early and went to the lighting of the court house tree. We enjoyed hot chocolate too. Ran into Cade while there!

Basketball homecoming and more basketball

We are about halfway through ball season. We had homecoming a couple weeks ago. Cooper was the freshman boy representative. Our varsity team won their game! That was exciting. We’ve been playing well the past few games. The boys have had quite a few supporters over the past few games.

Fall happenings and Thanksgiving

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at Rah Rah’s house. We’ve been sick all week and finally felt (almost) better. We enjoyed a great meal and lots of football and sleeping.

Chance was named ‘Most likely to bring home to your mother’ for the Jr. Class.

The boys got to referee youth basketball last Saturday. The cousins (Lilly and Halle) thought it was cool having their big cousins there.

The boys and I ran a 5K at FHU to raise funds for the Carl Perkins Center. It was miserably cold but we were happy to be part of such a great cause.

Chance Jr. Year

Basketball season started a couple weeks ago. Our season hasn’t started off all that great but Chance is playing well. Anxious to see how the season unfolds. Go Eagles!

Cross Country Season Ends

The Eagles had another great season! For the 5th season in a row we were regional champs. Cooper had a great Freshman year. We look forward to seeing him grow as a runner throughout highschool.
