Homecoming week at FHU

I’m playing catch up on 2023! Homecoming week was a lot of fun!! We loved getting to watch Cade in Hoop It Up. They didn’t win but it was really exciting to watch! I ran in the 5K for Carl Perkins. It was cold but a great race! The Xi Chi used our house to build their float. It was fun having them around during the week. 

 

 

Headed to State AGAIN!

It’s been another great XC season! We are headed to state as a team for the 8th straight year! We are so proud of our runners. Coop set a new PR this season so that was exciting for him. We have one more race before we move on into basketball. We head to Hendersonville on Friday. 

BBQ fest

 We always enjoy the BBQ festival. This year we had beautiful weather! We enjoyed the fried Oreos among other things. Chance participated in the Princes, princesses, and super heroes meet and greet. 

Happy birthday mom!

The boys took me to The Wall for my birthday and got me a pretty big stash of diet cokes as well as a cold brew maker. 

 

Homecoming week

 Homecoming week is so much each year. A lot of hard work goes into it for many weeks. The senior class won overall this year. Coop’s class didn’t win much but the senior class did! Chance had fun with the dress up days, powderpuff game, parade, and more. 

 

More running and Saturday soccer reffing

We spend a lot of afternoons and weekends traveling to XC meets. Watching the guys run is really fun!! They give 100% every time they are out on the course. 

I sure am thankful to have my boys reffing for the youth soccer league! Chance was taking the ACT this week but he’s usually out there on Saturdays reffing too. 

 

XC season!

Papa and Clara Ruth drove to Savannah to watch Cooper race. It was a beautiful place to run….apart from the dreaded hill that is part of the course.
