Gone Fishin

 Cooper went fishing yesterday at Ms. Cook's pond. He caught this good sized catfish! I think by the smile on his face he was happy with his catch!

Chance came home from AP camp only to repack and head off to a second week of camp at Mid South Youth Camp.  He seems to be having a great time and looks to be staying pretty busy based on the pictures that I've seen posted. here are a few! 

Strawberry Pie

While the boys were both gone to different camps on Monday Cooper decided he'd like the make a strawberry pie. He cut up the strawberries and helped mix the filling. The pies turned out perfect and oh so yummy!! He was very proud of his work.

Bowling with the Boys

The boys and I went bowling after they returned from a week at camp. We enjoyed bowling, lazer tag, coffee at Dunkin Donuts, and grocery shopping! Love these guys!

 The boys had a great week at ICYC. It was hot and dry but they came home with lots of stories of the great time they had!

 

Happy Mother's Day

 Had a great Mother's Day with my boys. They are such great young men. I am blessed to their mom. They make the job of being a mom lots of fun. We ended the day by celebrating Cooper at a special banquet at Freed. Freed is hosting the baseball tournament for NAIA and they had a banquet honoring the 5 teams that will be in Henderson competing. They presented several college baseball players (1 from each school represented)with a "Champion of Character" award. The coach at Freed recognized 4 students in our county who were chosen as "Champions of Character" by their schools.Cooper was one if the 4! We are so proud of him.
