District Runner Ups

The Eagles fought hard against Southside for 2 1/2 hours! The played 2 OT periods and went to PKs. We lost 1-0 after 6 kickers. It was a tough loss but both teams played hard! We are proud of our Eagles and will be heading to Regionals next week. Cade was named to the All Tournament team. 

 

 

 

Mother’s Day

I had a great Mother’s Day on Sunday. We went to eat at El Ranchito’s and the guys got me a Besso’s card and Ninja blender!! 

 

Regular Season District Champs

Our Eagles played Lexington and beat them 3-0 to clinch the regular season district title! Now on to the tournament. Watching the boys play is so much fun!! It was a great game. We have a very young team with only two seniors. Chance has had to step up big-time this year since one of our main defenders got hurt in the first game of the season. He has done an excellent job as a freshman filling that role! Cade is a scrappy player and is all over the place and just really does a great job on the field. He makes me a little nervous but he is a lot of fun to watch! I can’t wait to watch him as a senior next year. 

 

Youth Retreat

 The boys had a great youth retreat last weekend at Reelfoot. Cade and Chance had to go over after their soccer game along with a few others who had sports. They got to camp really late Friday night but made the most of their time there! They came home exhausted and loving the weekend. We are so glad they were able to go. We appreciate Jared and Bill and their work with the teenagers. 

 

Here we go again!

This guy got his permit today!! Another driver in the house! Way to go Chance! 

 

 

Happy Easter

Easter is a little different now that the boys are older. No eggs hunts but they still get a basket of goodies! Of course there are the mandatory pictures that the boys look forward too 😉! 

 

Spring Break part 2- The Game Terminal

Yesterday we drove to Nashville to play arcade games! Yes....to play arcade games! This place was so cool for arcade lovers! It cost nothing to go in! What?? It cost nothing!!  The arcade games are free! You can pay to play the pinball machines (which we did) and for food (we didn’t eat) but otherwise a free 4 hours of fun!! This place had over 200 games! The boys were in arcade heaven! They had an outdoor area with some fun games as well. It was worth the trip for sure!
