Happy 17!

 I know I say this every year with each boy but how are they getting do big so fast!!! Today Chance turned 17!! We are extremely proud of him. 

Yesterday we went to Red Robin and ate. Today we ate lunch with Rah Rah and she made him a peanut butter pie. Tonight we ate a chocolate cherry roll! A few days ago he mentioned that it would be cool to have one so I took his birthday as an opportunity to try to make my first chocolate cherry roll! It did not disappoint!! I only had one candle (and we HAD to have one) and it was a 4….so he got a 4 to blow out 😂!

Cookies with the Ketchums

Last night we went out to the Ketchum’s house and watched ‘Earnest Saves Christmas’ snd then decorated cookies. We also got to love on their new puppies….all 8 of them. They were the sweetest. 

 

KY Christmas

We made a quick trip to KY for Christmas. We were only able to stay for 24 hours due to a winter storm threat that was going yo hit the whole country! We had a great time even though it was cut short. We enjoyed tacos and dirty Santa with the family. Ended the night with fun Christmas  games. Chance dominated! 

 

Christmas parade and Christmas dinner with Deffenbaughs

Each year we meet the Deffenbaughs for a meal. This year we decided on the new Los Portales in North Jackson. It was delicious! 

We stopped by the dorm after dinner with the Deffenbaughs and visited with Amanda and her crew that was in for Christmas.

The Christmas parade was great. Becky, Diane, and I met early and went to the lighting of the court house tree. We enjoyed hot chocolate too. Ran into Cade while there!
