It's Times Like These...
...that I just love!! Okay so maybe not the fact that I opened the door and my glider was turned over BUT that my boys were getting along so nicely! I chose to overlook the whole chair issue this time!! They were using it as their house and they really weren't hurting anything..and to be honest I just couldn't stop what they were doing. It was just too sweet! Now if they start doing that with other furniture around the house we may have ourselves a problem. Cade was reading the other boys a book and asking questions about the book just like I do sometimes and I'm sure like his teacher Mrs. Danna does at school. Maybe I have a future teacher on my hands. We could use more men teachers!!

The snow came
Yesterday we woke to about 1/2 an inch or so of snow. I guess wearing our pajamas inside out worked!! The kids were anxious to get out and play. Wasn't much snow to work with but we still had fun. Maybe our next snow will actually be enough to build a snowman! I'm sure we could have rolled enough to finally get a snowman but we didn't! We settled with making snow angels and throwing snowballs this time.

Chance's 'funny' of the day!
As the boys (Cade and Cooper) were gathered around Cassidy looking at an American Girl doll magazine (it's really cute with lots of things to look at) Chance was doing flips off the couch and throwing pillows at them to annoy them. Cassidy says, "Hey, cut that out and Cade says, yeah..cut that out!" to which Chance responds, "You cut it out looking at magazines that are for girls!! He's such a funny kid! He's also my child that a while back watched one of Cassidy's videos she brought and afterwards said, "I'm not going to tell Cade I watched a girl movie!"

Hoping for Snow!
Cade's teacher told the class that if they would wear their pj,s inside out we would get snow...the weather men have been talking about the coming snow for several days now. Tonight Cade went to bed with his pj,s inside out with hopes that when he wakes there will be snow. I had never heard of this before but at bible class tonight I heard some others talking about wearing their p'j,s inside out too. Can't believe I've never heard this before. Anyway I'm going to wear mine inside out too. I love doing fun things and it sure can't hurt....unless of course the snow doesn't come! We may have some very disappointed people if that happens...but I don't think it will. Schools here and in the surrounding counties have already been called off for the next two days and we've yet to see a flake of snow..that's crazy! I have no doubt it's coming and I'm looking forward to having Chad and Cade home for the next few days!!

Christmas in Savannah
After bible class this morning we all headed to Savannah to have Christmas with my family. I always enjoy the times when we can all (or most of us anyway) get together for a little while and visit.
It was SO cold today and Cooper has the habit of taking his shoes off pretty much every time we get in the van to go somewhere. As soon as we left our house his shoes went off. He fell asleep so I didn't bother putting them back on until we got to Savannah. When Chad got him out of the van to run inside we looked and his little toes were curled up..I'm sure because it was so cold. Just thought they were sweet little feet.

Chad and the boys got Mario Kart for the Wii with 4 different steering wheels. Cade was super excited about this gift

Cooper hanging out with Sarah

I actually didn't take very many pictures today..very unusual for me...but I did get this picture of my brother Jon with Amanda's (my sister) new scarf wrapped around his head! Silly!

The boys with Papa and Clara Ruth.

Happy Birthday Chance
My New Year baby turned 4 today!! I can't believe how time has flown by. He picked this cake out of one of my party cookbooks for his birthday. He opened a few presents and had his cake today. Later in the month we will have his "BIG" party with friends and family. He and Cade are going to have a combined party this year. Cade's birthday is at the end of Feb so we thought we'd try the party in the middle of their 2 days. They are excited about it. Cade will get something special on his actual day too!! We are planning an Incredible Hulk party for friends and family. Now to come up with 2 cakes for that!! More birthday pictures to come later in the month. Happy New Year!
