51 students from East Chester were rewarded with a trip to see the Generals play. These students read the most words this school year. It was a beautiful day. Chance and Cooper both got to attend. Chance and Cooper were the top two readers in the school. I am really proud of my readers!!

Chance goes to Safari Park
East Chester's 3rd grade had a wonderful day at the Safari Park. The weather was perfect! The animals were so cool. We drove through fields of deer, buffalo, llamas, and other neat animals. They came right up to the bus and let the kids feed and touch them. We walked around and saw other animals too. Chance loved the peacocks and the camels! It was pretty neat watching the giraffe eat out of the kids hands.
Young Professionals Spring Retreat
This past weekend we drove to Nathan Bedford State Park to spend a couple days with our bible class. It was a wonderful weekend. We played games, ate great food, worshipped, sang songs, and just enjoyed each others company.
My family!
A couple weeks ago we drove to Second Creek for Friends and Family day. We had a great time worshiping and visiting with everyone.

County Wide 4-H Speech Contest!
Because Cade won first place in his class for his 4-H speech he got to go on to the county meeting. He did a super job. He placed 2nd out of about 15 5th graders. The speech topic was "My Hero". He talked about Lebron James. We enjoyed hearing speeches about many different heroes. It was a great night. These kids should all be proud of themselves for getting up in front of a crowd and presenting some great speeches. That's not an easy thing to do!

Rah Rah was there to support Cade

Spring Break
We didn't make any plans to go anywhere over spring break. We stayed home, did some housework, yardwork, cleaned cars, and just hung out. It was a great week at home. Gramps and Grammy game for a visit for the couple days. We haven't seen them in almost 2 years. It was great visiting with them. The boys spent the night with Rah Rah one night while they were here so they could have a little more time with them.
We did take the kids skating one day. We met The Bakers there. That was a lot of fun. Chad and I even skated!! That was the first time I'd skated in I think 18 years. The last time was my freshman year in college!! I actually did pretty well and only fell once.....doing the Limbo....LOL!! I probably should have left that game to the kiddos. We went and ate at China Pan afterwards.
