Special movie night guest!!

We have movie night/bible study nights each Thursday. We started this almost 3 years ago and look forward to it each week. Our crowd mostly consist of those without kids! We have to start the movies after our kids are in bed which means those of our friends with kids usually can't come because they are putting kids in bed too. Every once in a while we'll show a movie just for the kids and let them watch too. They always love that. One of the families that have been joining us for the past couple of years is moving this Saturday heading to Alaska. We are really sad about them leaving us but wish them the best. Cy will begin preaching in Alaska soon! I know they will be a wonderful addition to the church family there.

On a positive note..we had some special guest at movie night tonight. They used to be regulars but now don't even live in the U.S. Cory and Laura Beth have been missionaries in the Dominican Republic for the past year and a half or so. They are in the states for the next several weeks and joined us for movie night tonight! We have missed them so much since they've been gone. They've had a baby while on the mission field and he is a doll!!! He is six months old and is only a pound lighter than Cooper is (there is 9 months difference in their age). He is just too cute!! Cooper wasn't too sure about baby Harrison but Harrison was very interested in Cooper. Cory and Laura Beth will be moving back to the states in a few months and we look forward to having them home!! We are so glad they were able to join us tonight and we look forward to spending more time with them this week while they are in town. I will add that the Dominican Republic is 2 hours ahead of us so they were very tired tonight. We actually finished movie night early tonight (at 9:45) This was 11:45 their time! They all fell asleep part of the way through the second movie (we watched Santa Claus 1 and 2). That's okay...we feel honored that they chose to join us on their first night in town!
